Conceptual design of the collector coin "Black Lizard"
The basic motif of the conceptual design shows an endemic subspecies of lizards, Brusnik karst lizard (lat. Podarcis melisellensis melisellensis), a significant example of the natural heritage of the Republic of Croatia. The lizard resides on the islet of Brusnik, which has been protected as a geological natural monument since 1951. The author is the sculptor Nikola Vudrag.
