At its session today, the Council of the Croatian National Bank was informed about macroeconomic developments and forecasts for Croatia and adopted several decisions within its competence.
The CNB Council granted approval to the Supervisory Board of OTP banka d.d. to appoint Balázs Pál Békeffy as Chairman of the Bank’s Management Board.
The CNB Council reached a decision to issue a commemorative coin "City of Vukovar" as part of the "Croatian Cities" series, which features the commemorative motifs of the Vukovar Water Tower and the Danube River that represent Vukovar as a city of particular historical, cultural and symbolic significance to the Republic of Croatia. The commemorative 2-euro coin “City of Vukovar” will be issued in a record number of half a million pieces.
The CNB Council reached a decision to issue the new gold collector coins and silver collector coin "Ivan Vučetić’s Innovations", as part of the collector coin series "Croatian Innovators", with the commemorative motifs on the coins depicting an effigy and the innovations of Ivan Vučetić, a criminologist and the inventor of dactyloscopy. The decision was also reached to issue gold and silver collector coins "Croatian Shepherd Dog" as part of the collector coins series "Indigenous Croatia".
